This chia gel and blueberries protein shake is packed with antioxidants from the blueberries, fiber and protein from the chia seeds, as well as some extra protein from the almond butter. Since we have peanut allergies at home we us an almond butter that is not processed in the same location as peanuts. The ripe banana adds just the right level of sweetness. Since the chia seeds hold up to 9 times their weight in liquid, it is very filling. It is so yummy that if I was not feeling so full from it I would have more. I made mine with this nutri bulletbut you may use any blender to make this drink. I drank mine during breakfast time but you can easily supplement any meal with this shake.
